Sweeping the curved relief brush along the forearm

Meet the curve

Your Relief Brush is shaped to do two things most tools can't:

  • The crescent wraps your body — it hugs a forearm, follows a shoulder, fits a calf, so every bristle stays in contact right where the tension lives.
  • The dome tufts knead like fingertips — rows of soft raised tufts work along the muscle as you sweep. Firm enough to feel it working, gentle enough to use every single day.
The one rule: always sweep slowly, toward your heart — wrist to shoulder, ankle to knee. Slow strokes do more than fast ones. Let the curve do the work.

Before you start

  • Use on bare, dry skin — no oils needed (it also works lightly over a thin sleeve).
  • Start with light pressure for your first few sessions, building to medium. It should always feel pleasant — never painful.
  • Pick a daily trigger: while the kettle boils, during the evening news, before bed. The ritual works through consistency, not force.

1Find the achy spots — 1 min

Close your eyes and scan: shoulders, neck, forearms, calves. Press gently with your fingers — where does the day live? Pick your two or three sorest zones.

2Wake the area — 1 min

Light, brisk circles over each chosen zone with the brush. This warms the skin and tells the muscle what's coming.

3Sweep toward the heart — 6 min

FOREARMS
Wrap the curve around your arm. Sweep slowly from wrist to elbow, then elbow to shoulder — 8–10 strokes per arm, letting the tufts knead as they travel.
SHOULDERS
Reach across your chest with the opposite hand. Sweep from the top of the arm, over the shoulder, toward the collarbone. Slow down over the knotted spots — don't dig, just repeat.
LEGS
Seated, sweep from ankle to knee, then knee to thigh. The curve follows your calf naturally — long, unhurried strokes.

4Finish and stretch — 2 min

Slowly stretch what you just brushed: roll the shoulders, extend the arms, point and flex the feet. Most people notice the area feels warmer, looser and easier to stretch — that's your sign it's working.

✨ The skin bonusThose soft bristles sweep away dry, flaky skin while they work. For extra smoothness, do your ritual before a shower.
🧼 Caring for your brushWipe the bristles with a dry or barely-damp cloth and let it air-dry. Keep it on the nightstand — visible tools get used.
